A Life of Growth in Prayer and Work During her time in the Temple, the Blessed Virgin Mary was seen continually advancing in knowledge, prayer, and daily duties. Her life was beautifully balanced between spiritual devotion and humble service. At times, she was with the other young girls in the women’s dwelling, sharing in their daily activities. At other times, she withdrew into the silence of her small room, where she prayed and meditated in solitude.
